Background

Internationally acclaimed broadcasting company operating in Somalia required security services for their visit as well as support on numerous areas including medical care and food donations (resulting from the ongoing droughts). A crew size of three was deployed.

Hart Delivery

Recce missions were conducted to locations which were to be visited. Evaluation of the security situation in the city of Mogadishu with emphasis on specific neighbourhoods was also performed. Local knowledge and pre-task route clearance was completed. As missions for the client was confirmed, Hart undertook complete Duty of Care services from the moment the client arrived in Mogadishu until they departed, wheels up. This included any emergency medical services needed from the MSS clinic located inside Chelsea Village. After approving the mission as planned by the JMP (Journey Management Plan) Team of Hart CPO’s (International Close Protection Officers), the client underwent its journey both within the AAIA and outside of it.
